Renovations
can be one of the most important investments homeowners can make — and
with good reason. Carefully planned, quality renovations can
add significant value to a home, create the perfect retreat,
and even save energy.
Fix Building Products, located at 1020 McDonald
St., has been offering excellence in home renovations to Saskatchewan
and Manitoba residents for over 24 years.
They
maintain their edge in this industry through a very simple
and straightforward concept — offer
only top quality workmanship and products . . . never compromise. "Homeowners
don't want to face the same renovations three, five or even eight
years later because of poor quality products or lack of expertise," notes
Jahmil Fayad, owner of Fix Building Products. "Exceptional
quality is the cornerstone that has helped build our extensive
client base in this province. In fact, over 19,000 people in
Saskatchewan and Manitoba have trusted us with their home renovations."
Fix Building Products specializes in exterior
and interior renovations such as siding, window cladding, sunrooms,
windows, eavestroughing and soffit/fascia. Interior renovations
such as complete kitchen and bathroom renovations.
"We don't have a fancy showroom," states
Fayad. "We find that the clients' home is the ideal place
to highlight our products. We send one of our qualified salespeople
to the customer's own house to discuss the renovation. The homeowners
can easily convey to the salesperson exactly what they want,
and the salesperson can better assist them in choosing the best
products for their home. The sales rep can also show customers
examples of other work we have done in the area — exceptional
quality has always been our best advertisement."
The
quality workmanship is the pride of Fix Building Products'
tradespeople. "We have eight to 10
crews on hand to do the work," comments Fayad. "Each
crew specializes in a specific area; for example, we have some
crews who install siding, one that specializes in decks and additions,
another that focuses on kitchens and a few crews who are experts
in window cladding. In fact, window cladding is a specialty of
Fix Building Products. "Our window cladding is second to
none in this province," comments Fayad. "It is unbelievable
what our guys can do — it is most definitely a specialty.
We can custom-clad any wood window. Our staff always takes the
time to do the job the right way."
The
team at Fix Building Products is strong and enduring. "This has always been a family business,'
explains Fayad. "Both my wife Audra and I have worked with
the company for many years before purchasing it, and we are fortunate
that previous owners Karl and Jane Fix are still associated with
the company. Altogether, we have 35 qualified professionals to
take care of any renovation concerns our valued customers may
have. Each member has at least 10 years of experience in this
field, and exemplifies the best in the industry."
The
concept of family business goes beyond the company and into
the surrounding area. "In this company,
we have always understood the importance of community," says
Fayad. "For years we have been involved in the community
through kids' sports and sponsorships. We have sponsored rugby,
hockey, football and volleyball teams as a way of giving back
the people who have helped us succeed as a business. We also
make monthly contributions to the Food Bank and last year we
were a sponsor of the Eastview Community Kids' Camp."
Fix
Building Products has indeed succeeded so much that they have
now diversified — with a subsidiary
company called Fix Doors. "With the help of Brian Down — the
company's door and cladding specialist — we are now manufacturing
our own (exterior) custom specialty doors for our clients," notes
Fayad. "These top quality steel-insulated doors are designed
to best suit the needs of the home."
As
they continue to see the business grow, Jahmil, Audra and their
team of skilled people look forward to helping Saskatchewan
and Manitoba residents enhance the look and value of their
homes. "With our outstanding workmanship
and quality products — and a complete five-year labour
warranty on the work we do — Fix Building Products offers
much more than just a quick repair," concludes Fayad. "We
offer clients peace of mind; knowing that they have invested
in quality work that will endure for many years to come."
